Kindness

This paper looks at how kindness has been viewed over time, movements that have at their heart an assumption that we are innately kind creatures or not, and a view that kindness is now viewed with suspicion. Kindness rests on self love and empathy and a willingness to accept the existence of our own ambivalence towards others (we are kind AND cruel).
